Celebrate St George’s Day
Beavers from Apollo and Gemini joined with other Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from Biggleswade and the surrounding area for a parade through the town followed by a short service to commemotate St George’s Day.

Beavers enjoy Wildsquare
Beavers and their parents have enjoyed three mornings exploring our wildsquare in Rowney Warren. This terms project was to look for Nuts, Berries and Fruit. As Autumn moved to Winter it became more difficult to find this important source of food for birds and other animals.

Scouting’s Sunrise
Beavers from Apollo Beaver colony joined with Cubs from Jupiter, Mars and Neptune Cub Packs to celebrate Scouting’s sunrise by renewing their promise at Sunrise in Biggleswade Market Square this morning. The large group of Beavers, Cubs, Leaders and Parents assembled in the Market Square just after 5am in preparation for sunrise at 5:18am. As the sun came up first the Beavers, then the Cubs and finally the adults renewed their Promises. The short ceremony was followed by hot drinks and bacon butties.

Hoo Hill Maze Adventure
To celebrate the end of term the Beavers spent the evening getting lost in Hoo Hill Maze. All the Beavers and the 3 young leaders spent over an hour exploring the maze and eventually all found their way to the middle. Beaver Leader Chris Wells said "Our evening at the maze was great fun. The Beavers really enjoyed the chance to explore and towards the end of the evening they were getting very good at finding the routes through the maze."

Centenary Camp goes with a BANG!
Summer finally arrived to find all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from Biggleswade Scout Group enjoying a weekend of Fun and Adventure at Wymondley Wood near Letchworth.
