Celebrate St George’s Day
Beavers from Apollo and Gemini joined with other Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from Biggleswade and the surrounding area for a parade through the town followed by a short service to commemotate St George’s Day.

Success at Sainsbury’s
Sainsbury’s Bag Pack was a huge success. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from the Group took it in turns to pack bags in our local Sainsbury’s store on Saturday. A total of 6 hours of packing has raised a fantastic £966.50 for our HQ re-development appeal. Group Scout Leader Nicola Woodward said “This is a wonderful result and we are really grateful to Sainsbury’s staff and customers for helping us raise nearly £1000 towards our appeal. The Scout Group are currently investigating options for a significant extension to our current headquarters building off London Road.” The event was part of Sainsbury’s Community Week that runs from Wed 3 October to Tuesday 9 October 2007.

Scouting’s Sunrise
Beavers from Apollo Beaver colony joined with Cubs from Jupiter, Mars and Neptune Cub Packs to celebrate Scouting’s sunrise by renewing their promise at Sunrise in Biggleswade Market Square this morning. The large group of Beavers, Cubs, Leaders and Parents assembled in the Market Square just after 5am in preparation for sunrise at 5:18am. As the sun came up first the Beavers, then the Cubs and finally the adults renewed their Promises. The short ceremony was followed by hot drinks and bacon butties.

Centenary Camp goes with a BANG!
Summer finally arrived to find all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from Biggleswade Scout Group enjoying a weekend of Fun and Adventure at Wymondley Wood near Letchworth.

Fun Day had by All
A fun day was had by Beavers from both Apollo and Gemini colonies when the visited to 2007 Gilwell Fundays. During the day they enjoyed Grass Sledging, Rafting, Aerial Runways, Swimming, Archery and Tree Climbing.

Beavers Enjoy Carnival
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from Biggleswade Scout Group entered a float in this years Biggleswade Carnival. Based on the theme of Music through the Ages, the Beavers were all dressed as Glam Rockers.
